Until now, various medical personnel from many countries, such as Russia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, China, India, and Vietnam, have visited Wiltse Memorial Hospital so as to learn about advanced technology and medical systems. Wiltse Memorial Hospital has conducted its ‘Foreign Doctor Training Program’ for those visiting doctors. Wiltse Memorial Hospital has also been designated as an “Asia-Pacific minimally invasive spinal surgery training center”. Through the provided training sessions, Wiltse Memorial Hospital is able to demonstrate the high standards of Korean medical science and the profile of Korea throughout the world.


Dedicated support for academic research efforts to develop medical science

Wiltse Memorial Hospital has actively supported academic research activities to achieve its mission of ensuring the ‘best treatments for spinal disease to more people throughout the world’.

As a result, a total of 202 research articles have been published through well-known domestic or international academic societies, and 9 articles were published in SCI journals which are globally-renowned. Wiltse Memorial Hospital aims to help spinal disease patients around the world through its dedication to ongoing research.

Anterior Interbody fusion is only performed in a small number of hospitals in Korea due to the difficulty of the medical treatment.
